Charitable Giving
When I decided to open my business, I wanted to make sure that my business gave back and that my art-making would be able to support and uplift others.
Every year, Meesh Pottery donates 10% of all sales to non-profit organizations that serve BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities in need. This means that for every $10 someone spends on my art (including wholesale purchases), I will donate $1.
What does BIPOC mean?
BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. More specifically, when I use BIPOC, I mean that I will donate to organizations that serve people of African / Black/ Caribbean, Arab, South Asian, Asian & Pacific Islander, Latinx/e, and Native/Indigenous descent.
What does LGBTQ+ mean?
LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Two Spirit, Gender Non-Conforming, and Questioning individuals.
